CHRISTENE M. ERTL is a senior partner at Ansbacher Law and a proud native of Florida. Ms. Ertl is board certified by the Florida Bar in Condominium and Planned Development Law. Ms. Ertl received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law in 1998 and her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Florida State University in 1994. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Ertl worked in Los Angeles, California as an entertainment lawyer. In 2000, Ms. Ertl returned to Florida to be closer to her family. She began working with a law firm in Jacksonville assisting with its business and real property needs. From 2002 to 2005, Ms. Ertl served as an adjunct professor at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, teaching Advanced Business Law, while also maintaining a full time legal practice. Over the last 10 years, she has been devoted to community association law, representing primarily homeowners and condominium associations. Ms. Ertl makes it a priority to devote time to her community and profession by serving on local not-for-profit boards whose missions serve the community, the legal profession, and the real estate/community association profession. Ms. Ertl serves as a member of the Executive Council of the Florida Bar Real Property and Probate Section and is a founding member and vice-president of the St. Augustine American Inn of Court.
